Dandelion
A new outfit for the Fall / Winter 2024 group.
I started with printing a black and white leaves pattern on china silk using my ink jet printer.
The top of the dress is made of black silk dupioni. The top is strapless and is lined with white china silk.
The skirt part of the dress, made from the printed silk, is gathered at the waist and lined with white china silk.
The dress closes with a zipper in the center back.
Along the waist I added white flower petals made of a thin compressed foam that I cut on my Cricut machine.
The petals go around the waist and on top there is a wide silk sash that ties in the back in a big bow.
The jewelry is made of gold posts and gold chain with foam elements attached.
Doll and shoes are not included.
