Spring Time

A new mask just joined the group of one of a kind masks.

It starts with a molded air dry clay molded to a face mold that I have.

Once dry I started adding the more pronounce nose and lips.

When its all dry I sand it all to smoothe all rough edges, spray paint with white paint.

I opted  to paint the facial features. Heavy eye makeup and very dark red lips.

Then the decorating begins.

I applied Gold painted fine skewers around the face. Once these were all dry I took white tulle and weaved around the skewers to go all around the face and to be used as a base for all the floral decoration.

Then I started decorating with various fabric flowers in red gold and white.

The butterflies I cut on my Cricut machine and paint them in white black and a light spray of red.

The skewers were trimmed and at the end I glued gold metal beads. I also added black lace gathered on the forehead.

I think this kind of covers it.

Each mask that I make is unique and no two if I make another one like this, will be alike.
