I came across this fabric on one of my virtual shopping trips and immediately Chanel came to mind.
I got it and thought about how to use it.
I didn’t want to make a Chanel suit, so since I am experimenting with various sleeves, I opted to make the sleeve the star of the outfit.
The dress is sleeveless and body fitting. Lined with peach taffeta.
The jacket is wide, crosses along the front and is fastened with a snap and has one big button for decoration.
The sleeves have two-folds at the top which give the jacket kind of wings.
Two welt pockets with flaps
The hat is made from the same fabric.
The fabric is beautiful and was not easy to work with but I love the end results.
Included are the earrings and her shoes.
