Annabelle
 A new outfit in the after Dior group.
This outfit is a work of love.
 It definitely took some time to put this outfit together.
The skirt is made of white silk dupioni lined with white china silk. Then it was fan pleated to accomplish a wide pleat at he hem and a narrower one at the waist. The skirt closes with a zipper and a hook in the waist band.
The under skirt is made of white silk dupioni top and then I attached a trim which folds on itself to create fullness. The hem of the trim has a wire, so it maintains the fullness.
Now for the jacket.
I made the bodice with red silk dupioni, and it’s lined with the same fabric.
There are layers of silk organza on top. The layers are in black, burgundy and light red. There are four layers on the right side and three in the left. The back has two layers of organza. It was all put together as the jacket body and hand stitch to attach it to the bodice.
I then draped the shoulders using red silk dupioni and layers of silk organza in burgundy black and light red.
It took a while to fold the fabric to get the fullness that I wanted. All was hand stitched to the jacket.
Three hooks close the jacket.
The belt is made of leather in snakeskin print.
The jewelry is made of various beads for the necklace, gold post and teeny beads for the earrings and three metal bands for the bracelets.
Boots and skin color tight are also included.
