Belldome.
A new outfit in the Avant Garde group.
After finishing Carrera, I wanted to play with the same silhouette, so I made the jacket longer and used light china silk for lining.
I used the same buckram fabric for the top.
In order to strengthen the ribs, I used strips of buckram glued to the skirt seams to create stronger ribs.
Along the hem line I added a wire, which helps in maintaining the flare of the bottom as well as helping in maintain the curves of the hem line.
The jacket has a wide open neckline with a wide collar.
The shoulders extend and have long sleeves with a slit in the front.
I added a wide belt with a bowtie to the waist which looked a bit bare.
It took a while to construct this jacket, and I am happy with the results.
I decided that nothing else is needed to add to the outfit.
The outfit will come with white mesh tights, white ankle boots and earrings.
