Inspired by Charles James dress The Swan, I bring you my version of the dress.
The top part is made of black silk dupioni and is lined with the same fabric in order to give it some stiffness. The top is cut in the front to give the bust a nice fitting.
The bottom of the dress is made of 8 layers of tulle in black red and brown. The back is cut longer and is gathered and folded to give it extra body.
The drape is made of soft crinkled mesh cut on the bias and gathered at the sides. The drape is attached to the bodice.
Included with the outfit is black lace tights, black shoes and the jewelry that you see.
I use a piece of the mesh cut in a semi-circle to get the shawl and it will be included. I also tend to add some black tulle that I use for the head piece. It is a piece that I attach to the hair and fold it few places to get the look. I will include a piece for you to play with and get your look on whichever doll you will use. Assuming you will purchase the outfit, otherwise you are not getting the tulle or for this matter anything.
The doll is not included. Duh.
