Cala Lily
A new outfit in Avant Garde group of fashion for the 16” dolls.
I saw a dress on Pinterest that I thought will be great starting point to a dress that will be influenced by a Cala Lily.
The top will be white, with opening that will reveal part of the under skirt that will be yellow just like the spadix in the flower.
I had the right Tencel fabrics and started the work.
The under skirt is in yellow Tencel, floor length and narrow. The skirt is lined with yellow china silk and closes with a zipper and hook in the back.
The top is made of the same Tencel fabric in white.
A sweetheart neckline, body fitting at the torso and flares at the waist.
A deep slit at the seam leads to an uneven hem line that curve around the torso creating a leaf-like top appearance to the dress.
 
 The doll, shoes and accessories are not included.
