Well on the same shopping tour I found this beautiful Chalis fabric.
I sketched the design and had no idea how to go about the pleats. So, I made the other outfits and kept this one for last.
The dress bodice is form fitting with shirring along the front.
It is sleeveless.
The bottom part is fastened to the top by making the folds, sewing the fold and attaching a square aqua sequin with a gold seed bead. And so on and so forth till the whole fabric is fastened to the bodice.
Since it did not flare out as I wanted, I added an underskirt in shirred tulle to add volume to the skirt.
The dress is lined with white china silk.
The bolero has a folded sleeve head, in the spirit of sleeve experimenting, which gives the bolero wide and impressive shoulder line.
The bolero is bust length has shawl collar and ¾ sleeves length. It is lined with white china silk.
Included are her jewelry gloves and her shoes.
Doll is not included.
