A new outfit in the Avant Garde group.
This unique gown took a while to construct.
I started with my basic mermaid dress pattern and made some changes.
I created a sure bust line and cut the bodice just above the knees.
From this point, I added four semi circles and gathered them at points to fit the hem line.
The whole dress is made of white silk organza. Both the shell and the lining.
The semi circles are lined with the same silk organza and below there are four layers of white tulle to add volume to the skirt.
The head piece is made of the same silk organza and encircles the shoulders. The piece is sewn in two places creating kind of sleeve that fits at the top of the arm.
To decorate the gown and head piece, I cut on my Cricut machine various size of floral designs in black flock which I iron on the dress.
The outfit is completed with earrings made of black and white beads on a golden post.
The necklace is made of three bands of freshwater pearls and one band of black beads.
Included with the outfit is a pair of white mesh hose and ankle high white shoes.
